Biography

Stephanie C. Vang is a Hmong-American author based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is a devoted mother of four, a philanthropist, and an entrepreneur who runs a consulting firm specializing in IT management and app development. Vang brings a unique blend of practicality and creativity to everything she does, and her life experiences have profoundly shaped her perspectives on love, loss, and storytelling.

Her debut memoir, Where the End Begins, is a soul-baring reflection on grief, sacred love, and the kind of healing that lingers beyond this lifetime.

She is also the author of the Soul Assassin Trilogy, beginning with Feng: Reckoning—a haunting, cinematic tale about a ghostlike assassin with no heartbeat, no soul, and one forbidden connection that could unravel everything. Through Feng, Vang fuses mythology, ancestral memory, and spiritual mystery into a story that explores fate, identity, and a love that defies death itself.

Vang is currently working on several new projects set to release later this year and next, including romance novels that explore the complexities of love, spiritually infused stories that reflect on life and what lies beyond, and immersive works of fantasy and science fiction that blend magic with technology in thought-provoking ways.

In addition to her own writing, she collaborates with other authors to co-write and develop stories across genres—from children’s books to memoirs, thrillers, mysteries, and speculative fiction. Every project she touches is infused with heartfelt emotion and deep insight, making her work resonate with readers from all walks of life.

To honor the memory of her late husband, Logan, Vang writes him into many of her books and stories. His presence in her work reflects the deep love and connection they shared, and she finds comfort and inspiration in weaving his essence into her narratives.
