Debut novel The Existence explores love, memory, and a forgotten moment in Hmong history

Hang’s forthcoming debut novel, The Existence, is a poignant love story rooted in a historical event long buried within the Hmong community—now brought to life through lyrical storytelling and emotional depth.
Blending fiction with ancestral echoes, The Existence follows the spiritual bond between Chenu Lyfoung and Pachia, two souls bound by fate and separated by war. Their love transcends time and space, reemerging in another life with haunting familiarity. Inspired by Hang’s own journey of self-discovery and cultural reflection, the novel captures the fragility and resilience of love that was never truly lost—only waiting to be remembered.
